Currently based in San Francisco, Andrew Horn has worked extensively in the field of theatre and opera as a set and costume designer. He holds a masters in Scenic Design for Opera from Indiana University School of Music, where he studied design with Robert O'Hearn. He has worked as a designer and as an assistant on theatre, opera and ballet productions in New York and across the country for companies and venues including Actors Theatre of Louisville, New Group (New York), Berkshire Theatre Festival, Los Angeles Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Baltimore Opera, Atlanta Opera, Minetta Lane Theatre (New York), La Jolla Playhouse, and The Queen Elizabeth 2.

Design credits include Die Entfürung aus dem Serail and Maskarade for Bronx Opera Company, Cosí Fan Tutte for Baltimore Opera Studio, Amahl and the Night Visitors for the Gulf Coast Symphony, Le Nozze di Figaro for Opera Theatre of Philadelphia, The Merry Widow, The Mikado and Naughty Marietta for Light Opera Oklahoma, Tosca for Baltimore Opera, Kentucky Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre, Minnesota Opera, Atlanta Opera and Florida Grand Opera.
